My friend Vicki and I went to the Marina
to watch the fireworks.
I went to the exact spot I was at 2 years ago
at my first Florida viewing,
with my sister and bro-in-law...

Last year's event was rained out.

Earlier, my son Michio was here
to join us and visiting family,
in 4th of July festivities.

It was a great to see him again.

The Fountain: A View from 5th Floor

I took some time out
To rest and recuperate
In a hospital...

I spent a few days getting
the care I needed.
I'm on the mend now,
it'll be a little while,
before I'm 100%...

I can't say thanks enough
to all who helped me; Marisol, Wayne, Vicki,
and all my caregivers at hospital.
And especially to my dear friend Janine
whose advice to get to the ER
I took seriously.

In hospital, I watched the final Knicks vs. Spurs
game.
My nurse, Antony, was with me.
We watched the final winning moments together.
It was cool...

I got home on the 14th.
Now, I rest and take care of myself...

'Was one of those days
That just quietly unfolds

Yesterday, before sunset it was warm and clear,
here in FLA.
Myself and my sister Debra watched the brief launching of the Artemis II;
everyone in neighborhood was out and about doing the same-
It was a nice time to wander,
Onyx the Huntress thought so too.
She found a most beautifully inviting
Bottle Brush Tree, and decided to investigate the possibilities.
Myself, as her loyal publicist, took photos...
