Christmas with family and friends
was lovely...
I cooked one day, my sister Debra,
the next.
I was glad to see my son Michio!
On a sad note,
my old friend, Kei Ishida;
owner of Club Kei, in Akasaka, Tokyo;
where I performed for many years,
informed me my dear friend Kenji Tsuboi
has passed away.
Kenji was a true friend to me
from beginning and all through
my many years in Tokyo, Japan.
A friend, music supporter, and patron of my art.
It was hard to say goodbye to him
in January 2023, when I left Japan.
His friendship was a rare blessing,
I cherish all my memories of him.
