After the car show in Palm Beach on Sunday,
we continued driving, past President Trump's place
at Mar-a-Lago, and on to the non-private beach
by the Lake Worth Casino...

There were rip tide warnings,
but it was nice to hang out and collect shells
while walking in the seafoam!

After a time, we started the procession back to the car
and saw this peculiar looking fellow on a palm tree...
He asked for 3 silver dollars to pass,
or a short beer, (which ever was more convenient.)
Before I could consider this toll, he ran up the tree...

My sister and brother in law took me to a fantastic car show
in Palm Beach, on Sunday...

Vintage Volkwagens, all sorts,
located in a spacious park, a nice drive away.

There were many types and models-
Old, newer, but all were looking good.

I learned to drive on my grandmother's 1967 stick-shift Beetle,
with my grandmother as my teacher.
Seeing those old cars, with their emblems, icons, and interiors,
gently reminded me of that time...

After the car show, we decided to drive by Mar-a-Lago,
President Trump's residence, to check it out.

No photos, just looking while passing by...

Then, we stopped at a gorgeous beach called "Lake Worth Beach"...

I remember the first time I heard this music,
it was playing on a Tokyo TV commercial,
many years ago.

I remember how it moved me, as all of Ryuichi's music did,
from his Yellow Magic Orchestra days, till present.
I stopped what I was doing to concentrate on this music...

I read of Ryuichi's battle with cancer,
and how he kept playing, as long as he could, until his recent passing.

I am so greatly saddened by his loss...
