Today was my monthly Ikebana session…

It was a warm, mild day, and it was so good to see everyone,
relax, talk, and have lunch together.

It feels like the heaviness of Winter is finally easing,
my heart feels light…

A very busy and creative weekend!

Our photo-shoot was on Sat. with myself, Tomoya,
and photographer Mr. Arai, (新井　博　之) for the new CD...

On Sunday, my son Michio did the cover shoot.

Also on Sunday, was my Ikebana group's show,
I was able to go see it, right at the end...

While there, Lorna took a photo of me
standing next to an arrangement that used a veil, as part of its concept.

Lorna's original photo is very beautiful...

But the concept of me wearing a veil is abstract to me;
so I went digital with the image...

A great weekend!

for a large Ikebana group's show...
This was my first time to join...

We set up earlier tonight...

The show is at Green Plaza, 6F,
and opens to the public tomorrow from 10am-4PM
It will close at 4PM, Saturday, 11/2/2013...

Congratulations to my niece Danielle!

On November 15th, 2007,
after a long labor,
she gave birth to a beautiful, healthy,
baby boy!

Welcome, Peyton Douglas!

I have recently started taking classes in Japanese lanquage,
and the Japanese art of flower arrangement;
Ikebana.

I am meeting new people in these classes,
from all over the world -

Recently, I received my 2007 catalogue,
"LESSEDRA 6th ANNUAL ART MINI PRINT 2007"
from the Lessedra Gallery,
in Sophia, Bulgaria.

This was my second year to participate.

For the catalogue,
Marigold, was selected.
This catalogue contains a truly magnificent collection of 644 artists works,
from 59 countries.

The show was held from June 7th - August 31st 2007.

I am very proud to have participated...
