Yesterday was the first snow-day here, of this Winter...
Great light for photographing pansies!
The big, fat, wet flakes,
that melted in a day,
looked so lovely as they fell...
On Thursday, I went with my girlfriend Lorna
to see the Oyamada, Jiro show,
at Fuchu Art Museum.
A phenomenal show.
Closing on Feb. 22, I recommend this show highly...

I wanted to be inspired by the
Jean-François Millet “Amitié et Amour à travers l’ Oeuvre de Millet” show,
at Fuchu Art Museum,
yesterday...
It was a worthwhile show;
many pieces were collected from Japan, USA, and France...
My favorite painting was of a young woman holding a knife,
shearing a sheep.
It was unavailable on postcard, or in any other printed form...

My dear friend Michael came out my way,
to visit, for the day...
On that sunny end of January day,
we had a chat that lasted through lunch,
a slow stroll through the park,
and on to the Fuchu Art Museum,
to catch the "OVER THE RAINBOW"
exhibition...
I 'm not a big fan of "conceptual art" shows,
but I'm open to them,
and my friend Michael is both patient and inspirational,
with some of his insightful observations.
Over the years of being friends and viewing art together,
we have made our artistic differences, a learning experience.
I treasure his company.

Looking Up, Looking Down
Michael in front of an eye-catchingly modern, new building-
I laid down on the ground, to get this shot!
