It is in the collection of my dear friend and patron, Hiroshi Yamamoto.
I see the sunflowers today, reaching way up over my head,
and I wonder, is it time to paint them, again?

My gig last night with 原 とも也 Tomoya Hara,
at Blue Eyes Jazz Cafe in Ginza
was a success.
Many thanks to Tomoya,
Ishii-san, (the proprietress of the cafe) for her hospitality,
to my audience, who really appreciate my music,
Sakurai-san for his photos,
and my dear friend Kenji, for his continued thoughtfulness,
and a cab ride home.
My next show is Aug. 23, Saturday,
at LIMELIGHT, Fuchu...

The vivid color, the light, the scents,
and the heat of July in upstate New York,
are a fond memory...
This is in my personal collection, as I can't part with it,
but I hope to make this and selected pieces of my artwork,
available in limited edition prints.
