"Working in Clay"

Today I received a photo taken from my last ceramics session,
earlier this month...
This class is rare,
so I try not to miss it.
There is something very theraputic
about working with clay...
I made another personalized kanzashi container.

I joined a ceramic group a while ago,
that meets every-so-often,
to create Ikebana vases, bowls, or in this case,
a container for my favorite wooden hair forks...
Having long hair,
I have collected quite an assortment of hair sticks, pins, laquered Japanese kanzashi, and many other types of hair ornaments.
I keep them in small ceramic cups, shot glasses, "one-cup" sake glasses,
even cut-off pet bottles...
I wanted to make something special and personalized,
for my favorites...
I got the glazed final result back, a few days ago...
