The first day of August has brought with it the heat.
The public pools are closed,
so I decided to paint.
I did a series of 3 Etegami postcards,
I present 1 today.
Yesterday I cut a small branch off a Japanese maple tree, (momiji)
for today’s subject.
Blue and green are soothing colors to me, in summer heat.
For musical inspiration this was one of the tunes I chose,
from Harold Budd:
