My last trip to Guam,
3 Summers ago,
I painted 4 watercolors,
and 15 Etegami postcards,
I sent out to family and friends...
Today I present the 4 paintings...
Remembering Guam-
Afternoons in solitude
watching the light change...
Swimming in the pool
a dragonfly says hello,
And "Hafa Adai!"

"Sweet Sour Guam"
Watercolor, Black Ink
I bought this "sweet sour" fruit from the Chomorro Village Festival
held every Wednesday.
It looked so curiously odd, that I had to paint it,
and then, cut it open and taste it.
It tasted like banana, bitter lemon, and something indescribable!
This fruit has a powerful "cleansing" effect.
If the strange taste doesn't
limit your intake,
let this warning!
I love visiting and rediscovering Guam,
every time I go.
I hope to visit again soon!
Till Next Time...
