“Tian-mu”

This is my new computer art piece,"Tian-mu".
I had a dream a few years back, of a woman with Titian red hair,
wearing a huge black wire cubed headpiece,
with dangling crystal teardrops...
She walked very slowly, and with each forward movement,
I could hear the fascinating sound of the clinking of the teardrop glass.
The only thing I modified from my dream is the mirror-as-pendant.
As this idea just came spontaneously,
I thought it best to just go with it.
Nothing I could think of could aptly describe this in a title,
so I researched a bit, and came up with something from Chinese Mythology :
Tian-mu, is the goddess of lightning...
Yes, that'll do...

I received in the post my Art Prints,
and catalogue,
from my participation in the
2006 Annual Art Print Exhibition,
at Lessedra Gallery in Sophia, Bulgaria.
Georgi Lessedra owner, curator.
There were 525 artists shown this year.
I entered 3 pieces in the 2006 Art Print Show:
Tehani
Tian-mu, and Moss.
I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the work
submitted by the artists, and presented in this catalogue.
Every piece is important, separately,
but as a body of work, it is quite impressive.
I am proud to have been a part of it.
I was invited to participate next year, as well.
I look forward to one day going to Sophia, Bulgaria, to see this show in person...

Say "Happy Birthday" to Meladramas!
She's three years old!
I finally got my print package out to the
LESSEDRA GALLERY
before the 17th March deadline.
I entered 3 prints from 2005:
MOSS
Tian-mu
Tehani
I want to thank Michio for his beautiful new "art" promo photo of me,
I'll post it soon,
and Hiroshi for his help with printing, and his friendship and support.
The light is finally good for painting today...
It has been dark for days!
