When I arrived at Half Tone, to run through a few tunes with Keisaku, Inada-san, the proprietor of the premises, and himself a decent guitarist, allowed me to try using his guitar, a beautiful electric Yamaha modeled to resemble and sound like a Gibson Les Paul.
What a beautiful experience for me, to go electric !
I played on the second set, a few blues numbers. One of which was the Rolling Stones tune, "No Expectations".
Keisaku backed me up on piano beautifully.
There is nothing quite like playing for yourself...
