"Imagining..."

Digital

A large, overstuffed, winged-back
deep-purple velvet chair,
awaits me.

Nearby, a cobblestone fireplace.

A small oak table
sits next to this chair,
covered by a white linen cloth.

On it sits a crystal vase of the most fragrant
fresh cut parrot tulips-
The red and yellow petals are as vibrant
as the flames in the fireplace...

It is early evening.

My tasks completed...

I dream,
while staring into the flames...
