"In A Fog..."

at Le Deco Gallery...
My friend Michael and I went together,
this past Saturday.
It was a blustery May evening,
walking along in Shibuya...
That feeling of early Summer was in the air;
that small slice of perfection that occurs
before the rainy season starts,
and the hot, humid, Tokyo Summer
begins...
Once inside,
I met other artists, an Opera singer,
photographers, an actress, a music producer,
musicians, writers, lurking bon vivants,
and the gallery owner;
whose birthday this happened to be...
I sang a few jazz numbers
with Nao on piano.
The roster of performers was spontaneous...
Michael played a few of his original works on the piano...
We left that evening with a feeling of being sprinkled with pixie dust...
