The New Year holiday is about over...
Next Friday, January 9th, is my birthday.
I will celebrate it with a concert, at Jazz Spot "J", Shinjuku, with my Trio:
Keisaku Takahashi - piano Kazuo Midorikawa - bass Yosuke Hase - drums
Also, a few special musical guests may stop by and sit in...
The following week, Friday, January 16th, I will perform at Tokyo Main Dining, in Shibuya.
Yesterday, I went with my friend Hiroshi, to see the newly opened Paul Klee Exhibition at Bunkamura, in Shibuya.
From 2 January, Fri.~ 22 March, Sun. 2009
Masterpieces of Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen: The Beginning of the 20th Century; Times of Picasso and Klee...
I enjoy Bunkamura for the fact you can get up close to see details/ brushwork, and they exercise crowd control.
This collection of art is so absolutely not to be missed!
Divided into 4 categories, Expressionism, Cubism, Surrealism, and Kandinsky & Klee.
it is one of the most important shows, here for a relatively brief period.
